Life In The Sun

So i have been a grumpy cow for majority of today, i am putting it down to PMS. I got up early after a late night out ( i went swing dancing and then to flashdance  ), and spent most of today cleaning up my grandpa’s house for him…. he’s not so good with the cleaning in his old age. But i seem to have done something to my hips while i was cleaning as now i can hardly walk and they are killing me!

I was thinking i might try my hand at another wordpress theme sometime in the near future, i was also thinking i might try and turn that old pink one with the rainbows into one as well as i always thought it was super cute and i really dont like the lay of the site right now.

I just took some pain killers and i’m feeling kinda dopey now so i think i’ll say goodnight and head of to bed/couch.

dear god, its currently 41 degree celcius and i think i am going to boil from the inside out!
I was supposed to be moving back into my parents house today (yes i moved out into a house with so friends, but since i am trying to save some money for my trip to japan in a months time i thought going back to M+D’s was a great idea), but its to freaking hot to do anything, let alone move furnature. So im sitting in the air conditioned goodness at the rentals house, trtying to work up enough motivation to go and do something. I hate how tired and cranky the hot weather makes me.

SO a busy life and a serious lack of motivation has let to some serious blog neglect. but this is me, would you expect anything less?

I have just been working alot, and have seriously lagged on the lunch time chronicals also. i think i am going to stop that for a little while, purely for the lack of commitment and motivation. i might pick it back up again at some point. But for now, it has been veto-ed.

Last week i went to this awesome conference with the IABA it was all about controlling behaviours of our disabled clients, and i must say it was very informative. It opened my eyes to alot of different ways to deal with situations at work.

As fr recently, i have been trying to dance alot. I had an absolute ball at the lindy lo9unge last night, lots of dancing was had and i am starting to feel more and more apart of the group which is nice. Then Jen, Ro-anna and myself all went to the pancake kitchen for pancakes… YUM! Havent been there is so long. i forgot how goo they were I did so much eating yesterday though, i really do need to try and cut back on the junk food. Oh and the reasoning for lots of dancing is i am auditioning for a swing performance team on monday hopefully i’ll get in, cos it sounds like a lot of fun! Hope im good enough!

You are all probably wondering about the third of october. For those of you who know me or have been following my blog for a while, you would already know this, but for those who have no idea…. the third once upon a time would have been my wedding day to John. I was a little upset becasue alot of my girlfriends who promised to come out and party with me completely vanished, but benji understood how big it was and i ended up going out with him, andrada, adrienne and my little bro andrew and we had a massive night. it was so much fun. We went everywhere and just messed around.  It was a good night and i think we celebrated different pathways, or my “un-wedding day” quite well. I’ll post the photos up in the album, they are all seriously amusing!

That morning i also had a photo shoot with Tim so i could finally start up my portfolio I havent go them back yeat, but when i do i shall post them up, hopefully they will turn out as good as i think they will.

Today i am just bumming around the house. i have a serious case of lazy going on. i am totally un motivated to do anything. Which is bad cos my dog really wants a walk. I may have to walk some of my mums banana muffins over to meatballs That seems like a nice thing to do i think.

I have been doing sooooo much paperwork today. it is completely doing my head in. Mum and dad have gone off to queensland and mum left me with heaps of stuff to do today and it has taken me forever to get it done. I think my brain has actually turned to porridge and is in the process of trying to escape out my ear…. graphic huh

But apart from that things have been just swell Last night was rum club and steveo’s birthday. We went to his for drinks and food before heading to cushdy. Ben then proceeded to get completely wasted and spent the whole night chatting with his man crash. He is lucky he is so cute when he is drunk or i would have seriously gotten the shits with him. Needless to say he wasnt feeling very healthy today and vowed never to drink again. Right up until he went to the whisky dinner at the rob roy a few hours ago. Silly boy.

Oh and i heard back from the people that have my car, and its STILL not freaking fixed! I went to pick it up a few days ago and they had managed to break the seatbelts (obviously they were working perfectly fine before i gave them the car or i would have gone straight through my front window. and i dint have a passenger), but a month later and a serious amount of money later and they think they can give it back tomorrow. I hope so, it would be nice to drive my own car again instead of making everyone play taxi.

So that has been the total of my day, and now i am contemplating swing dancing and honey dew melon. both of which i am craving. I may have to go see to those.
