Life In The Sun

I have been doing sooooo much paperwork today. it is completely doing my head in. Mum and dad have gone off to queensland and mum left me with heaps of stuff to do today and it has taken me forever to get it done. I think my brain has actually turned to porridge and is in the process of trying to escape out my ear…. graphic huh

But apart from that things have been just swell Last night was rum club and steveo’s birthday. We went to his for drinks and food before heading to cushdy. Ben then proceeded to get completely wasted and spent the whole night chatting with his man crash. He is lucky he is so cute when he is drunk or i would have seriously gotten the shits with him. Needless to say he wasnt feeling very healthy today and vowed never to drink again. Right up until he went to the whisky dinner at the rob roy a few hours ago. Silly boy.

Oh and i heard back from the people that have my car, and its STILL not freaking fixed! I went to pick it up a few days ago and they had managed to break the seatbelts (obviously they were working perfectly fine before i gave them the car or i would have gone straight through my front window. and i dint have a passenger), but a month later and a serious amount of money later and they think they can give it back tomorrow. I hope so, it would be nice to drive my own car again instead of making everyone play taxi.

So that has been the total of my day, and now i am contemplating swing dancing and honey dew melon. both of which i am craving. I may have to go see to those.

Hey there guys. sorry i havent updated in a very long time, but as the title states, my world has been messed with. some things for the better, some fore the worse, but its is all slowly turning ok. So i supposed for the first announcement, John and i are no longer engaged, let alone together. We broke up about 2 months ago now. It wasnt working, we were always fighting over the same things, and they were never going to change, so i broke it off before we made a big mistake. It sucked hard core, but it was the best thing to do. So i am staying in adelaide, and he is staying in queensland, but thankfully we are being rather civilised about everything so hopefully we wont end up hating each other.

as far as work goes, I am working weekends with ocea at the beauty bar and mon, tues, wed on programs for mum and dad, so work seems to be going nicely finally. 

I have taken up swing dancing classes, which might i add are fucking awesome fun i am very much loving it.

And here is the biggest news of all – i have a new boyfriend! I know its so soon after finishing with john, and i assure you i wasnt looking for one. But our meeting was accidental, and he is one of the most amazing people i have ever met. His name is ben who is a super hot german bartender who is studying physics but more on my new boy later. i need to get ready for swing.

Over the next few weeks i will slowly be updating the site (ie removing the wedding section) and hopefully blogging alot more on life in general.

So what do these three things have to do with each other? Well not a hell of alot, but they are goog starters for all my new good news!

First of all, for those who dont know, i am back in adelaide again. I came down for cheryls 21 bday, but i also had a job interview on friday at ocea beauty bar and guess what, i got the job!!! Yay!!! So on tuesday i will be flying back to the coast and packig up my car to drive back down again. Exciting huh? The only down fall is that my life will no longer be in the sun of Queensland…. i might have to think about changing the name. hhmmm.

Cheese… well i have a random craving for mac and cheese right now…. just felt i would share his with you I would go make some but mum and dad are going to take us to San G’s for dinner tonight so i am trying real hard not to fill up on junk food. Thats for tomorrow

We had such a ball last night. Much drinking and being merry was had by all. We almost made it to red square, but becuase sound wave was on that day the line was huge. We cracked the shits with waiting and some how ended up at isobar instead. I have not been there since i was under age, and back then it was a seriously sleazy and dingy club. Boy has it changed! We had a ball. I must say, i am loving adelaides obsession with RnB, its wonderful

My darling john went back home today, he was down here with me. Gosh how i miss him. He isnt going to be able to follow me down to adelaide for a few months because of work, so i will be here by myself so to speak. Its going to be horrible. The only down fall of my awesome master plan that is currently brewing. I will miss my boy immensely, but this is just one of those things that we have to do.

Oh and we have finally picked a reception venue We are going to have it at a place called chloes. Once i have more details on it i will post i in the wedding section.

Well, i finnaly got another job. Hopefully this one will last! I am working as the door bitch at barcode night club. I am the one that gets to stand at the door and look pretty while taking peoples money for cover charge. It really isnt such hard work. And they are going to get me to do promo as well. isnt that great?!

So last night was my first shift. We got really busy, and then at about 1am there was this massive brawl out the front and all these cops turned up. Bloody kiwi boys, they are always fighting. It was really bad too, cos one of the female policeman was having the shit beaten out of her, so one of our bouncers ran over to help, he didnt throw any punches or anything, he just restrained the guy, and she had the nerve to give him a talking to and now she is pressing charges. So much for trying to help someone in need huh.

Monday john and I went to movie world for the day, we had such a good time. It feels like it has been so long since we actually did anything “togetherish”, it was so lovely. He has been so good to me lately, i feel like things are finally starting to get a little better.

I also decided to start reading the host by stephany myer, decided not to dwel on twilight considering it kept making me feel so miserable. The host is definately not as good as the twilight books, but is still a pretty decent read. I think im going to have to find something else to start reading soon. Anyone have any suggestions? I like the whole, impossible romance adventure sort of stories.

Well i think i will be off, its pancakes time!

well, as the title states, i got the job at carlies! Yay!

I went out with flick friday night for a big girls night, and we got rather drunk. Came home at like 4am and collapsed into bed, only to be called by amanda (my new boss) at 9.30 saturday morning saying i had the job, and could i please come in and work straight away. So i Got up and headed over to carlies with THE BIGGEST hangover, luckily it was only a short shift. But beleive it or not she was happy with me for coming in hung over :S Apparently it was good that i will come in no matter how i am if she is desperate.

So i have been working there for a few days now and it is going quite well. I get to wax alot and it isnt exactly hard work, and the best part is she is sending me off to be trained in Napoleon make up!!! Isnt that awesome!

So yeah, i havent really been doing much but working and playing around on stickam.
