Life In The Sun

Well my parents finally came back home from the holiday house up in queensland, an dbrought my puppy dog home with them, gosh how i have missed her! She’s my baby I took her up there with me for christmas, but because i have been away and out alot around the new years period i thought it best she stay with my parents, she was having so much fun going to the beach all the time with them anyways.

So i still havent managed to go and get the rest of my stuff, or my bed as of yet, so i am only half moved back into the rentals. but it’ll happen eventually i suppose.

Still having very lazy days of not doing a whole lot, but toiday i am going out for lunch with noddy and were gunna do some shopping yay!

So for the first time in years i finally got to actually go to the show and enjoy it, instead of dreading it for its seriously long and craptacular work hours. Benji took me both thursday and friday night and we had a ball We ran into jinda and kelly on the thursday night, which was good cos i was still slightly hung over from the night before and ben needed someone to go on rides with. And Jinda won me a giant panda and i got a sexy new hand ba as well, which was nice, because i have been wanting something to replace my pink playboy one for a while now. Much fun and junk food was had by all, we had a great time

The wednesday night (also the reason for my hang over) was wicked as, Me and Dale got dressed up for the rockstar theme, i think we looked a bit sexy. here we are -

We partied all night and then i for some reason decided to sleep on the floor in the lounge room under the table. Oh to understand my drunken mind :S

Then last night was the lindy lounge and as always i was there dancing. I arrived late though because after the show i dropped ben into cushdy to start work, and somehow got conned into making pancakes for him and eddie. and that was ok, but it seriously cut into my nanna nap time so i went home to change, and fell asleep by accident! So i didnt get to lindy till like 10 but for some startge reason i was seriously hyper active, like i had eaten a whole lot of sugar, which strangely enough – for once i hadnt :S I swear i must have had a target on my back or something because all my leads kept running me into people :S it was bizare.

Well that has been my weekend thus far, its been quite lovely really. The warmer weather is finally starting to come through, although there is a strong wind in the air too, its just gorgeous. I love this weather. Bring on summer

I know it seems like forever since i updated last, and for that i apologise. My life has been so busy!

As you all know, my last entry was from the airport in brisbane alot has happened since then! New zealand was wonderful, and andrew enjoyed his 18th birthday no end, i have some awesome photos of him with tequila that i will have to post up a bit later! I learnt a new drinking game which is played to thunderstruck the song… you go around in a circle and everytime he says thunderstruck someone has to start drinking and cant stop until he says it again. Very messy game, but fun none the less. I also managed to find a specialty shop in Wanaka that sold the appleton master blenders legacy rum, which you cant get in AUS, so benji was a happy boy!

My flight out of queenstown took forever, there was massive fog going on so all flights got diverted, i got to spend the whole day sitting at the airport reading a book. very exciting.

The day after i got back i managed to crash my car and cause a 4 car pile up, i didnt write it off thankfully, but i am currently stuck without my car which is super annoying.

oh and this weekend we have played host to bens beautiful cousins anita and esther i have had a wonderful time getting to know them!

Well enough from me, i promise my blogging will be a little more frequent now my routein is getting back to normal

Well i am sitting at the airport waiting for my flight to sydney, and my queensland part of my trip is officially over. I have had such a lovely time here, i got to spend lots of time with my friends and caught up with family, it was just wonderful.

The night i got here i had dan and jamie over for beer and pizza and they drove me around live maniacs on their mopeds. The next day i went and picked up my wedding dress (althought i have no idea what on earth i am going to do with it), went shoe shopping and had my nails done. Then the boys got up here and it was a whirl wind of partying and beach going.

But benji went back to adelaide last night, markus headed for switzerland this morning and now i am going to have to go in just a moment because my flight to sydney is starting to board!

i will attempt to steal my brothers laptop to blog and load up some photos when i get to wanaka

So after going getting up super early to drop benji off at the airport yesterday morning, then having dinner with my parents that night i had decided i wasnt going to go to town last night. So low and behold come midnight i find myself getting dressed and being draggend to town by Jinda and elicia. A few glasses of wine and a whole heap of shots later we end up at the Mars bar ( which is the local gay club – go figure since all three of us are straigh). After that we decided we needed some RnB to dance too, and since eskobar wouldnt let JInda in and red square was already at capacity, Isobar it was! I have not been to that place since i was about 16 and it was dark and sleazy…. not much has changed, but gosh we had so much fun! We spent the night dancing around like idiots and then some how it was 5am and jinda was putting me in a taxi so he could go get a few hours sleep before work (yes the poor boy had to work at 9am today – ouch!). But no, i didnt want to sleep and spent the next hour having random drunken conversations on facebook with people i hardly ever speak to. It was definately an interesting night!
